MathSoc Directors
The mental wellness director manages the distress events and the MathSoc mental health blog. They work closely with the VPO, VPI, and the president.

VP Internal Directors
The marketing directors are responsible for the effective utilization of society’s distribution channels. Duties include the creation and distribution of marketing materials for the society’s events and activities.
They are responsible for all postings on MathSoc’s bulletin boards. This may include designing posters for events, upgrading bulletin boards on the third and fourth floor of MC, and timely/frequent posting of flyers brought to the MathSoc Office. Also may include managing social media accounts of the Society. If you have any relevant work or social media handles, feel free to attach/include them in your application.

The Event Coordinator will work with the VPI to help organize and run events for the Mathematics Society. The coordinator will be in charge of managing and overseeing several of MathSoc’s core events.
VP Academic Directors
he Exam Bank Director is responsible for maintaining the Exam Bank and facilitating the submission and approval of new exams.
The Exam Bank Director should also encourage submissions, for example, by running a contest with prizes for students who submit exams
The Resume Critique Director is responsible for organizing a Resume Critique event to aid students in applying for co-op jobs.
The Mock Interviews Director is responsible for organizing Mock Interviews to help students with the co-op process

The President is the chief executive of the Society. They oversee all the affairs of the Society, represent the Society at official functions and public occasions and works with affiliated organizations on behalf of the Society.
They also work with the other executives and ensure things are running smoothly. They are also in charge of liaising with the many Mathsoc clubs.

The Vice President, Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Society. They oversee the main Society office and its operation.
They oversee all of the technical infrastructures for the Society including the website and the MathSoc server. Lastly, they oversee the Society’s space such as bookings as room allocation.

The Speaker of the Mathematics Society Council is charged with running the meetings of Council according to Robert’s Rules of Orders and the Bylaws of the Society.

Actuarial Science Representatives are voting members of Council, elected by Actuarial Science students to represent their interests. Actuarial Science students include those in Honours or Joint Honours Actuarial Science programs, including Mathematical Finance.

Computer Science students include all students in Honours or Joint Honours programs offered by the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, including Computer Science, Bioinformatics, the Computer Science and Business Double Degree, and Computational Mathematics.
Computing and Financial Management Representatives are voting members of Council, elected by CFM students to represent their interests.
Mathematics/Business Representatives are voting members of Council, elected by Mathematics/Business students to represent their interests. Mathematics/Business students include those in Honours or Joint Honours Mathematics/Business programs, including FARM, Math/Chartered Professional Accountancy, Information Technology Management, Mathematical Economics, and the Math and CS Double Degree programs.

The Director of Music is in charge of organizing and hosting musical events for MathSoc and will be working closely with the VPI and other events directors. Responsibilities include planning coffeehouses, jams, recruiting performers and running marketing for music related content.

The Director will help run de-stress events and work on new projects to promote well-being among students.
